Ramayana is our true History and not a Myth

Ramayana is the best living teacher on how to live a principled life.  it depicts history of  true relationships, ideal father, ideal Son , Ideal life.  Ramayanaa consists of 24,000 verses and incidentally the first letter of every 1000th verse makes Gayatri Mantra.  Lakshman is an avatar of Sheshnag or Adi Shesha and he also accompanies Lord Krishna ( 8th avatar) as  Balram.

Ramayana happened in Treta Yuga  So let me first explain about Puranic Calender

Puranic Calender :

Basic unit of Life = Nimisha, the instant
15 Nimisha =1 Kastha
30 Kastha =1 kaala
30 Kaala = 1 Muhurta
30 Muhurta = 1 day
30 Days = 1 Maasa ( Month) = 1 day for Gods
6 Maasa = 1 Ayana

1 Human year = 1 day and night for Celestials ie 1 Uttarayana and 1 dakshinayana
365 Human Years = 1 Year for Gods

 4 Yugas:

Krita = Pure & Pristine ( 4800 yrs)
Treta = Less Pure ( 3600 yrs)
Dwapara = Half corrupt ( 2400 yrs)
Kali = Evil ( 1200 yrs)

First 3 yugas is 2,3,4 times kali yuga ie 1:2:3: 4. To get equivalent human years, we need to multiply each yuga by 365 because 1 year of  Human life = 1 day of God

1 Chaturyuga = 1 Cycle of all yugas = 12,000 Godly years = 12,000*365 Human years

71 Chaturyuga = 1 Manvantara
14 Manvantara = 1 Kalpa
Kalpa of 1000 Chaturyuga = 12 Million yrs = 1 day for Brahma
1 day of Vishnu = 1 Life time of Brahma
1 day of Shiva = 1 Life time of Vishnu

Proof of Ramayana:

1) Biggest proof of Ramayana is the Supreme Court approval of the Ram janmabhoomi case in favour of Temple. One of the clinching proof used by SC was visit of Guru Nanak to Ayodhya to pray to Lord Rama which was recorded in his biography.

2) Ramsetu is another clinching and living proof to show that Lord Ram lived on this same land . Nasa has released images of this bridge as well 

3) Places mentioned in Ramayana still exists such as Ayodhya, Mithila, Chitrakoot, Prayag,  Panhchvadi, Rameshwaram

4) Lord Rama' veneration was celebrated even in current South east Asia regions like Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia. Even today, Kind of Thailand is referred to as Rama 1, Rama 2, Rama 3....

5) Cobra hood cave where Sita was held captive in Srilanka still exists in the town Sigriya

6) Hanuman Garhi, the place in Ayodhya where Hanuman waited for Lord Ram when he went on exile still exists and there is a Hanuman temple right there now and  huge foot steps of Hanuman are still seen on the stones of temple Nuwara Eliya and nearby temples at Sri Lanka

7).And lastly Ramayana has reference to mighty Saraswti river which too has been proven by Satellite  Landsta of US which captured its path  and later by ISRO imagery as well. So if Saraswati is real, Ramayana has to be real.

Ram & lakshman were not born through a natural process of reproduction. They were born through a Yagya conducted by Dasaratha. Dasaratha belonged to Ishkavu dynasty and was  also the founder of Sun dynasty 

Ram is the 7th avatar of Lord Vishnu and Sita ma is an incarnation of Lakshmi.
